Case summary

He is a citizen of Ukraine and an IT specialist. He was born and lived in the city of Khartsyzsk in the Donetsk region.

It is unknown how he got from the occupied territory of the Donbas to the Rostov region. A case was initiated against him for hacking attacks on Russian infrastructure. On 30 May 2023, a court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced him to two years in a penal colony and a fine of 600,000 rubles. His laptop and phone, which were taken from him during the searches, were confiscated “to the profit of the state”.
