In November 2023, Platonov was fined 30,000 rubles under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences (discrediting the army; details unknown) and 10,000 rubles under Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences (inciting hatred). The second fine was issued for publishing a post that contained anti-Semitic statements, including the following excerpt: "JIDES [Jews] — GRABBERS AND NATION-MURDERERS. TALMUD: DECEIVE, KILL, ROB THE GOYS..."

Full summary
Platonov, a resident of Moscow, was the General Director of Newlight LLC, a company that, among other things, produced LED lamps (it is unclear whether he still held this position at the time of the proceedings). A criminal case was opened against him on charges of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces (details remain unknown) and incitement to hatred.
