Pleskachev was charged with two episodes under the article "Insulting a judge", one under the article "Use of violence not dangerous to life and health against representatives of the authorities due to the performance of their official duties" and six episodes under the article "Insulting representatives of the authorities". It all started with the fact that in 2019, human rights defender Pleskachev claimed that law enforcers exceeded their authority when searching his flat. According to him, the police banned Pleskachev from filming on his phone and prevented him from calling his lawyer. The human rights defender stated that they put him on the floor and then tied him up with belts. He learnt about the case against him on the day of the search. Full summary
Житель Медногорска (Оренбургская область), правозащитник. Его обвинили в оскорблении судьи, применении насилия в отношении представителей власти и оскорблении представителей власти. Все началось с того, что в 2019 году Плескачев заявил о превышении силовиками полномочий при обыске в его квартире. По его словам, полицейские запретили Плескачеву снимать на телефон и не дали позвонить адвокату. Правозащитник заявил, что его положили на пол, а потом связали ремнями. 17 декабря 2020 года Плескачева приговорили к году и трем месяцам принудительных работ. Позже суд апелляционной инстанции сократил срок на два месяца.
