Case summary

Podolyak is a resident of Krasnoyarsk. She had charges brought against her for alleged use of violence against a police officer in connection with her participation in a rally held by Alexei Navalny's supporters in May 2018. On February 25, 2019, Podolyak was fined 150 thousand rubles. In May 2023, Podolyak was dismissed from the university where she managed a sports club. Her 17 social media comments against the war led to charges discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. After an expert review, there were five comments left in the case. On October 29, 2024, Podolyak was fined 100 thousand rubles.
