Case summary
During the search on 15 March 2023 computers, phones and other equipment, as well as the flag of Ukraine, were seized from him. After interrogation, he was released on recognisance not to abscond. Since Roshchin is a member of the Territorial Election Commission (TEC) with the right of deciding vote, the resolution to initiate a criminal case against him was signed by the head of the Main Investigative Directorate for Moscow Region. On 3 August 2023, Roshchin was sentenced to a fine of 100,000 rubles.
