Case summary

following a publication on the Yabloko party's website, in which magistrate judge Elena Zolotukhina, a magistrate of the judicial district No. 30 of the Western intra-urban district of Krasnodar, was labelled a "delinquent judge who willingly fulfils the orders of the authorities to issue knowingly unjust decisions", a criminal case was opened, although the authorship was not established; he was detained in Sochi for failing to appear before an investigator (Rudomakha claimed that he had not received any summons).

OVD-Info has been designated an «extremist» organisation in Russia — by decision of the Russian authorities, like other independent human rights and media projects.
