Case summary
A resident of Pyatigorsk. Formerly a representative of the Falun Dafa Centre for Spiritual and Physical Development (another name for Falun Gong, a Chinese system of spiritual practices). No later than March 2024, she was placed under house arrest in the case of participation in the activities of an "undesirable organisation". Later it became known that Shchetkina was accused of organising the activities of an "undesirable organisation".
On 27 November 2024, Shchetkina was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony.
