Case summary

A resident of Chita. In April 2023, she was fined 15 thousand rubles in a case of discrediting the army (part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 of the CAO) and another two thousand rubles in two cases of demonstrating prohibited symbols (part 1 of Art. 20. 20.3 of the Administrative Code) - because of a picture in Odnoklassniki social media with a Russian flag with the text "To defeat the Banderovites, we must first liberate the Kremlin from the Vlasovites!" and a yellow swastika, and because of the emblem of a certain recognised extremist organisation (presumably the Northern Brotherhood) in VKontakte. Later, a criminal case was brought against her for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and repeated display of banned symbols. The case went to court, but she failed to appear twice, and in October 2024 the case was suspended: the court's website indicated that the defendant had absconded. Later Belosliudtseva was detained and placed in custody. On 9 December 2024, she was sentenced to two and a half years' suspended sentence. On 5 March 2025, the court of appeal replaced the suspended sentence with a sentence in a penal colony, but Belosliudtseva, judging by what the text of the ruling says, was not present at the hearing.
