Case summary

On the morning of 9 June 2023, Sergeyeva was searched and taken for questioning in Sysert; after that she was released on her personal recognisance in a case of discrediting the army. A screenshot of a post from her Instagram, which became the reason for the administrative case of discrediting the army, appeared on war-supporting Telegram channels, after which Sergeyeva began receiving threats. On 25 August 2023, Sergeyeva was arrested in absentia. On 23 December in Yekaterinburg, law enforcers came to the event "Spaces of Politics" and copied the data of all those present, announcing that they were looking for Daria Sergeyeva.
