In October 2022, Shevchenko was fined 30,000 roubles under the administrative article on discrediting the Armed Forces (Art. 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) for the publication in the social network of a poem that contained "a call to refuse to participate in the <information redacted>", as well as three posts that did not contain any calls, but the court deemed them directed against "the special military operation being conducted by <information redacted> in <information redacted>".
