Stanislav Shminke

In January 2023, administrative protocols for discrediting (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) were issued against Shminke and his company, Intellectual Business Solutions, following complaints by Andrei Alshevskikh, a State Duma deputy from the United Russia, made in August 2022. At that time, the regional prosecutor noted that the website contained material discrediting the Russian army. In February, Shminke, as an official, was fined 100,000 rubles, and his company was fined 300,000 rubles. According to Vecherniye Vedomosti, the protocols may have been prompted by Shminke's statement on the website, published on May 16, 2022. In it, he condemned Russia's foreign policy and announced the relaunch of the website.
