Case summary
A resident of Krasnodar, an employee of the Krasnodar region administration. On 9 August 2024, it became known that he was taken into custody after a search on charges of organizing the activities of an "undesirable" organization due to his alleged involvement in the Falun Gong movement, a system of spiritual and physical cultivation developed in the early 1990s in China. Supporters of the system face persecution because of criticism from Chinese authorities. Seven organizations associated with Falun Gong have been declared "undesirable" in the Russian Federation.
