The reason for criminal prosecution was a video on the woman’s page on the Odnoklassniki social network. The video describes how residents of a Russian village kicked out a Russian military officer. On 16 February 2023, Skorovarova was fined under the administrative article on discrediting the Armed Forces (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences) because of her posts in Odnoklassniki.

Full summary
A resident of Taganrog. On 11 January 2024, she was searched and detained as part of a case of discrediting the Armed Forces. The next day the court sent her under house arrest. On 6 March 2024, the court replaced the preventive measure with a prohibition of certain actions. On 19 March Skorovarova was sentenced to two and a half years suspended sentence.
