Case summary
Starikov is a resident of Uiar (Krasnoyarsk region). On 3 February 2026, he was detained, on 5 February he was placed in custody on charges of involvement in the activities of an extremist organization, namely the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters. On 3 March 2026 Starikov was transferred to house arrest.
