Case summary
A resident of Orenburg, allegedly a supporter of the "citizens of the USSR" movement. A case was brought against her for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, displaying prohibited symbols, incitement to hatred on ethnic grounds and abuse of the state emblem and flag. In September 2024, the case went to court. On 14 January 2025, Venevtseva was sentenced to two and a half years' imprisonment in a penal colony.
