Case summary
A resident of Yekaterinburg, mathematician. Father of Leonid Volkov, one of the leaders of the Anti-Corruption Foundation. On the 3rd of April, 2025, Volkov Sr. was searched. It became known that a case on financing extremist activities was opened against him in connection with the transfer of money to the ACF.
On the 2nd of October, 2025, the court sentenced him to a fine of 300 thousand rubles.
