Full summary
Ученый-физик, сооснователь «Диссернета», журналист «Новой газеты». В конце августа 2022 года был задержан по уголовному делу о финансировании экстремистской деятельности из-за пожертвования ФБК. Заякин перевел тысячу рублей фонду 5 августа 2021 года, на следующий день после вступления в силу решения о признания ФБК экстремистской организацией. После задержания суд назначил Заякину запрет определенных действий в качестве меры пресечения.
Вскоре ученый покинул Россию. В октябре 2022 года его объявили в розыск, а в ноябре внесли в список «иноагентов».
25 июня суд заочно приговорил Заякина к пяти годам колонии.
