The entry lists the phone numbers of the duty unit and the criminal investigation department of the police station for the Kirovsky district of Yaroslavl, Skorikova's home city, where she also worked for the NTM television channel.
The Investigative Committee's department for the Yaroslavl region announced a criminal case over calls for activity against the security of the state. The press release did not name the suspect, but TASS and RIA Novosti reported that the case concerned Skorikova.
According to the investigation, the journalist posted a text on social media containing a call for activity directed against Russia's security. Officials did not specify what the post contained. Skorikova told the 7x7 news desk that the case was opened over posts on Facebook.
A YarNews source familiar with the investigation said she had taken part in anti-war actions and, according to the investigation's account, created media projects together with "foreign agents, extremist organizations and organizations recognized as undesirable."
Skorikova appears on broadcasts on the 7x7 YouTube channel and heads the Reforum Space resource center in Vilnius. In March, the Justice Ministry added her to its register of "foreign agents." According to Mediazona, she has since been fined twice under the "foreign agent" administrative article, and neither ruling has yet entered into force.
