Guided aerial bombs hit the private sector of the Nemyshliansky district, Kharkiv city military administration head Ihor Terekhov said. A 35-year-old woman was pulled from the rubble of a destroyed house and died of her injuries, according to Terekhov. Oleh Syniehubov, head of the regional administration, said a seven-year-old boy was among the wounded.

More than 30 private houses and 11 cars were damaged.

Later the same day, Russian drones struck a food store in the suburban settlement of Pisochyn, Syniehubov said. Three people were killed and nine injured, including two children. Five cars caught fire at the site of the strike.

Drones also attacked a truck belonging to an agricultural enterprise near the village of Chornohlazivka in the Kharkiv region, the regional prosecutor's office said. The driver was killed.

Local residents and Telegram channels reported a strike on Kharkiv's TEC-5 thermal power plant, which supplies the city with heat and electricity. A fire broke out there. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the attack on the plant.

The strike on the plant came several hours after US President Donald Trump announced an energy truce reached between Russia and Ukraine. Zelensky, in a comment to Axios, said Trump's statement was news to him, but that Ukraine is ready to support a truce if Russia stops strikes on energy infrastructure. The Kremlin has not commented on Trump's words.

According to Zelensky, over the past week Russian forces carried out more than 200 strikes on electricity generation and transmission facilities and another 17 on gas and oil facilities.

Sources differ: Mediazona, Current Time and Deutsche Welle report two dead as a result of the daytime attack on the Nemyshliansky district, while Radio Liberty writes of two dead during the day and three in the evening. Terekhov reported 10 wounded, Syniehubov reported nine injured in the daytime attack.
