The Primorsky District Court of St Petersburg found Innokenty Kustov and Sergei Nikulshin guilty under three administrative articles, the city's joint court press service said. The proceedings followed their performance of Noize MC's song "Kooperativ 'Lebedinoe ozero'" on Mebelnaya Street.

Each musician received two days of administrative arrest and a fine of 15,000 rubles. Protocols were drawn up for petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code), "discrediting" the army (Article 20.3.3) and organizing a mass simultaneous presence of citizens in a public place (Article 20.2.2).

The court press service described the performance as follows: the musicians "sang loudly, preserving all obscene expressions, using sound-amplifying equipment." It also stated that "those involved gathered a crowd around them, probably fans, who interfered with other people who were not so reverent about the work of foreign agents and obscene language. People began complaining to the police."

According to OVD-Info, in May 2025 the Primorsky District Court of St Petersburg banned the distribution of the song in Russia. An expert examination found in it justification of a hostile attitude toward people, statements about the violent change of the constitutional order, a negative attitude toward the Russian authorities and army, and harm to minors.

Noize MC's track refers to the television broadcast of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballet in August 1991, during the State Emergency Committee coup, Mediazona notes.
