Ozon said its logistics facilities in Orenburg and Ufa were attacked by Ukrainian drones overnight on 27 August. Employees had been evacuated from the warehouses in advance, and according to preliminary company data, no one was injured.
The Orenburg facility has already resumed operations. The warehouse in Ufa sustained minor damage and is temporarily closed for inspection. The company has suspended deliveries from sellers in Ufa and will redirect goods in transit to other facilities. Customers can place orders as usual, Ozon said in a statement. Sellers were asked to bring goods to pickup and return points on 27 August.
Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+ reported that an Ozon warehouse caught fire in the city of Blagoveshchensk in Bashkortostan after the drone attack. There is no official confirmation of this information. An attack was also reported on an industrial zone in Sterlitamak, where a petrochemical plant is located, according to iStories.
Russia's Defense Ministry reported that 267 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Samara, Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions, Krasnodar Krai, Bashkortostan, annexed Crimea and the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
