Ukrainian forces attacked Yalta with sea drones on the morning of July 31, according to TV Rain. The attack sparked a fire near the port, and authorities ordered the evacuation of the central embankment, urging residents to leave open areas and take shelter.
Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to Russia's installed head of Crimea, and the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's Crimean branch called on vacationers to leave beaches and embankments. "Attention everyone! We ask Yalta residents to leave the beaches and embankments and go to shelters!" Kryuchkov wrote. The Yalta Unified Duty Dispatch Service declared a drone threat starting at 12:00.
The Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" reported gunfire from Russian mobile fire teams near the embankment. Later, monitoring channels reported a possible attack on the sea port, with videos published by "Crimean Wind," Supernova+, and Exilnova+. No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
