The Yabloko party has named the leaders of its candidate list for the election to the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly, according to the independent outlet Sota Project.
The first spot on the list went to Dmitry Anisimov, a 35-year-old incumbent deputy in the city parliament and deputy head of the party's local branch. According to Sota, Anisimov received the mandate after Alexander Shishlov was stripped of his deputy status. Shishlov lost his seat over a repost of an interview with Grigory Yavlinsky, the party's founder, in which Alexei Navalny, the late opposition politician, was mentioned; authorities classified the repost as a "display of extremist symbols."
The second spot on the list is held by Victoria Razina, a 32-year-old lawyer. She previously worked as an aide to St. Petersburg deputy Olga Shtannikova and, before that, as an aide to Shishlov.
