Case summary
On 19 December 2016, it became known that a criminal case of humiliation of human dignity of a group of persons united on the basis of nationality had been opened against a 28-year-old English language teacher. The defendant signed a confession of guilt and was placed under house arrest. On 14 March he was sentenced to two years of suspended sentence with a probation period of two years, having been found guilty under part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code.
