Case summary
On 3 August Abanichev was searched as part of the mass riot case, the same day he was taken for questioning to the Investigative Committee, where he was charged. On 5 August, the court decided to take him into custody. On 9 August, the staff of the TDF of SVAD, where Abanichev was held, deceived his mother, saying that her son was already in the pre-trial detention centre.
On 3 September, the Investigative Committee announced the termination of criminal prosecution against Abanichev.
