Case summary
On 27 July 2019, he was detained during the dispersal of a rally for fair elections. On 11 August, Kostenok was searched, after which he was detained and taken for questioning to the Investigative Committee, where he was charged with participation in mass riots. The next day the court ordered him to be placed in custody.
On 3 September, the Investigative Committee announced the termination of prosecution against Kostenok.
