Case summary
On 8 July 2021, Adestov's home was searched, he was detained and taken for questioning. The next day, the court sent him to detention as part of the case of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 25 November, he was transferred to house arrest, then he was given a prohibition of certain actions.
On 15 July 2023, Adestov was sentenced to a year in a general regime colony and 11 months of restricted freedom. The court released him on account of the time spent under preventive measures.
