Case summary

She is a resident of Saransk, a former police officer, and currently a housewife. She has two dependent minor children, whom she raises alone (she is a widow).

The criminal case was initiated after Andina, together with Fedorov and Moiseev, released a film titled “Saving the Police Ombudsman” about the criminal case against Vladimir Vorontsov, who defended the rights of law enforcement officers. The authors of the video told about the plan to expose the investigation, in which Andina tried to infiltrate the department of internal security of the Moscow police. Vorontsov’s supporters decided to deliberately add another count to his case in order to document falsification carried out by the investigation.

Andina and Moiseyev reported their plan in Vorontsov’s trial in October 2021. Andina stated that the operatives persuaded her to give false testimony against Vorontsov in exchange for material benefits and reinstatement. She submitted audio recordings of her conversations with the operatives as evidence.

As a result, on 18 July 2022, the prosecutor dropped part of the charges against the “police ombudsman”, including the count with Andina’s involvement. A month and a half later, Fedorov, Moiseyev and Andina were detained and taken to pre-trial detention.

On 3 October 2023, Andina was sentenced to three years in a general regime colony. Presumably, she was released in August 2024.
