Case summary
A former Russian national guard soldier, born in the Moscow vicinities. Detained in the Bryansk Oblast in November 2022, while trying to enter Ukraine. At first, he was charged with illegal crossing of the state border, then the charge was reclassified to attempted state treason: Arinushkin was accused of attempting to join the Freedom of Russia Legion. No later than March 2024, a verdict was passed, the details are unknown.
