The reason for the case was an anti-war video in the YouTube channel "Evgeny Ostrovsky" for ten subscribers. In the final part of the video, Babin set fire to his military card. According to the investigation, it contains the following "fakes": - Putin, as Supreme Commander-in-Chief, uses prohibited weapons, destroys civilian infrastructure during military operations on the territory of Ukraine, and is thus a terrorist; - Putin threatens people with the use of nuclear weapons; - Russian soldiers do not deserve the right to be called warriors and have no dignity; - Russian army is conducting armed actions against Ukraine and destroying defenseless people; - The Russian Armed Forces are protecting the property of the ruling class, which contradicts the oath according to which the army should fulfill its duty to protect the country; - Russian representatives have started armed actions against Ukraine and are destroying the civilian population.
