Case summary
Resident of the village of Hlyaden, video blogger, 47 years old. He is engaged in agriculture, has repeatedly participated in protest rallies, published videos about the shortcomings and "blunders of this government". In March 2023, he was fined 30,000 rubles under the administrative article on discrediting the Armed Forces (Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) because of two publications on VKontakte. The criminal case was initiated no later than spring 2023. On 17 January 2024, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office. On 24 September 2024, when the case was retried, Brigida was sentenced to a two-year suspended sentence.
