On 11 December 2014, a criminal case under part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement to hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity) was initiated against eco-activist Valery Brinikh, chairman of the Adygean republican organisation of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Nature. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity) for the publication of the article "Silence of the Lambs" on the website "For Krasnodar"; on 30 September 2015, Brinikh was charged with complicity in incitement to hatred, expressed in the fact that he helped unidentified persons to place the publication on the website "For Krasnodar". On 7 August 2017, the case was dropped
