Case summary
A resident of Tyumen. He was prosecuted for knowingly spreading false information about the Armed Forces because of posts written when he was a minor. No later than August 2023, he was sent to a psychiatric hospital for examination. Initially, the case was initiated under the 1st part of the article, but then reclassified to the distribution of "fakes" about the army with a hate motive (item "e" part 2 of the article 207.3 of the Criminal Code), there are two episodes in the case. On 25 November 2024, Bugrov was sentenced to four months of forced labour. On 29 April 2025, the appeal court overturned the verdict and sent the case for a new trial.
