According to the investigation, in December 2023, he posted on his personal page on the social network materials "containing approval of the crimes of Nazi criminals and their accomplices". In addition, he published materials "expressing clear disrespect for the symbols of Russia's military glory and the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland" twice. According to media reports, two pictures published by Chemerigin in Odnoklassniki social network contained criticism of the St. George’s ribbon" The first was a collage with the St. George’s ribbon superimposed on an image of an eagle with a swastika and the caption "The St. George’s ribbon is a symbol of General Vlasov's Russian fascist army". The second image contained the same collage, but with the caption "During the Second World War, St. George’s ribbons were awarded only to Vlasov's RUSSIAN corps, which fought on the side of the NAZIS" (the original post's spelling is preserved). Apparently, the investigation considered these pictures as expressing disrespect towards the symbol of Russia's military glory.

Full summary
Resident of Karachay-Cherkessia. In April 2024, it became known that a case had been initiated against him under Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code ('Rehabilitation of Nazism'): according to the investigation, he supported the actions of the Nazis and desecrated the "St George's ribbon". Chemerigin was required to sign a covenant not to leave the country. On August 1, 2024, the court sent him to compulsory psychiatric treatment.
