Case summary

Ukrainian serviceman. He was taken prisoner. On 15 February 2024, he was sentenced to 26 years in a strict regime colony on charges of murdering a civilian resident of Mariupol. A case of participation in the activities of a terrorist community was opened against him because of his involvement in the activities of the Azov battalion. On 4 December 2025, Cherednichenko was sentenced in this case to 18 years in a strict regime colony.
