Artem Aristarkhov

According to the investigation, in November 2020, Aristarkhov voluntarily joined a paramilitary formation within the special operations detachment “Azov”, which is part of the National Guard of Ukraine. On the training base, he underwent training for the purposes of “carrying out terrorist activities”; in the course of physical and psychological training, Aristarkhov acquired knowledge and practical skills; he learned to handle weapons, explosives and explosive devices as well as objects posing danger to others. Following his training, Aristarkhov joined the 3rd squad of the operational platoon within “Azov” as a grenade launcher operator and took part in military operations against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
