Case summary
A resident of Vladivostok. A case of rehabilitation of Nazism was initiated against him because he sent a picture of a Vlasov army officer to a garage complex chat room in response to 23 February congratulation with a picture of Admiral Kolchak. The statement against Chernyansky was written by the sender of the message with Kolchak's photo. On 8 September 2023, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office, but on 2 November 2023, the court of appeal reversed the decision. On 31 May 2024, the court acquitted Chernyansky. One of the judges of this court is Chernyansky's own sister. On 31 July 2024, the court of appeal reversed the acquittal.
