Case summary
A resident of the village of Nerchinsky Zavod (Zabaikalsky Krai). She was charged with incitement to cause minor bodily harm and with discrediting the Armed Forces in connection with the case of an attack on Mikhail Taskin, a participant in the war in Ukraine, in August 2023. On 20 September 2024, Chertkova was sentenced to two years and two months in a general regime colony. On 3 February 2025, a court of appeal reduced the sentence by four months.
