Case summary
A resident of the village of Nerchinskiy Zavod (Zabaikalsky Krai), he was accused of incitement to harm in connection with the case of assault on Mikhail Taskin, a participant in the war in Ukraine, which took place in the village in August 2023. The other individuals involved were also charged with discrediting the Armed Forces, so we view this case as politically motivated. On 20 September 2024, Golyatin's case was terminated due to the reconciliation of the parties.
