Case summary
Neurologist with 11 years of experience. Works in an emergency hospital. He was detained in the case of defacing banners with portraits of participants in the war in Ukraine. "Komsomolskaya Pravda" in Rostov claims that Churinov repented, apologised, said that he did it under the influence of an acquaintance who emigrated to another country, and also said that he decided to volunteer for the war. On 31 May 2023, Churinov was sentenced to a fine of 800,000 rubles.
