Case summary
A resident of Tula. He was detained on charges of calling for extremism: according to the investigation, on 31 January 2021 he called to go to a rally in support of Alexei Navalnyi and commit "physical violence against law enforcement officers and members of their families". After his detention, a video of him apologising was published. On 23 April 2021, Demenko was sentenced to a year and a half suspended sentence.
