Case summary
Ivan Dremin (known as Face) is a musician originally from Ufa. He left Russia in 2022 and has openly criticised the Russian authorities and the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In April 2022, the Ministry of Justice added him to the 'foreign agent' register, after which Ufa courts fined Dremin five times in administrative cases for non-compliance with 'foreign agent' legislation. In July 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs placed him on a wanted list in a criminal case for failing to comply with 'foreign agent' duties. On 3 March 2026, the court sentenced the singer in absentia to a fine of 250,000 roubles.
