A former deputy of the Pskov Regional Assembly, a deputy chairman of the Pskov branch of the Russian United Democratic Party Yabloko. In June 2023, he was included in the register of "foreign agents". On 2 October 2024, Shlosberg's residence was searched and he was questioned as a suspect in the case of evasion from the duties of a "foreign agent", after which he was released under an obligation to appear. On 23 November 2024, Shlosberg was detained at the airport in Pskov, but was soon released. On 10 June 2025, Shlosberg's home was searched again, this time in a case of repeated discrediting of the army, which was initiated because of a video of a debate between the politician and historian Iurii Pivovarov on the YouTube channel "Zhivoi gvozd". The next day the politician was placed under house arrest. On 7 October 2025, the measure of restraint was replaced with a ban on certain actions. At the same time, the press service of the courts of the Pskov region issued a post that Shlosberg's house arrest had been extended before the court's decision. However, on 10 October the court of appeal returned Shlosberg under a house arrest, having satisfied the complaint of the prosecutor's office.
On 5 November 2025, the court sentenced the politician to 420 hours of compulsory community service in a case concerning evasion of the duties of a “foreign agent”.
On 3 December, a case was initiated against Shlosberg for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces motivated by political hatred. The reason this time was a repost in his Telegram channel, made in February 2022. The case was initiated shortly before the end of house arrest in the case of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.
