Case summary
Journalist, author of the YouTube channel "vDud". Left Russia. In April 2022 he was included in the list of "foreign agents". On 30 June 2025, following fines for the absence of the "foreign agent" disclaimer in his publications, the Moscow Prosecutor's Office announced that it had initiated criminal proceedings against Dud under the article on evasion of "foreign agent" legislation. On the same day, RIA Novosti, citing a source, reported that the case had been initiated.
On 16 September 2025, the prosecutor's office announced that the case had been sent to court. On 14 November 2025, Dud was sentenced in absentia to one year and ten months in prison.
