Case summary

A resident of Omsk. He was detained in the spring of 2021 as part of an 11 people group. Four other detainees then became witnesses in the case, and the rest - citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan - were deported from Russia under court decisions.

On 13 January 2022, the Kirovsky District Court of Omsk found Sultan Dyusekenov, Abdimomun Mamytov and Murat Baltabaev guilty. All of them were sentenced to a fine of between 20,000 and 90,000 roubles.

On 30 March, the Omsk Regional Court considered the prosecutor's appeal and toughened the sentence. Dyusekenov was given a final punishment of 2 years of imprisonment without the right to engage in activities related to participation in public organisations for 3 years and with restriction of freedom for 1.5 years.

Presumably, he was released in March 2024.
