Case summary
On 14 October 2014, he was detained during a search and arrested on 15 October together with seven other people on charges of participation in the activities of the terrorist organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir. On 8 December 2017, he was sentenced to 19 years in a strict regime colony. In February 2018, it was reported that Adiev was placed in a disciplinary cell.
