Case summary

On 17 May 2018, Egorov's home was searched. In July 2019, it became known that a case was opened against him for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation. A signature on non-departure was taken.

On 21 June 2021, he was sentenced to two and a half years of probation. On 12 July 2022 the court of cassation instance cancelled the sentence and returned the case to the court of appeal instance. On 3 October, the appeal court sent the case back to the first instance court for review. On 17 February 2023, he was again sentenced to two and a half years' suspended sentence.
