Case summary
A resident of Voronezh, an IT specialist. On 28 July 2025, he received a summons for an interrogation. During the interrogation, he wrote a confession that he had transferred money to the Anti-Corruption Foundation. Later it became known that a case of financing extremist activities was opened against him. On 17 March 2026, a court in Moscow sentenced Ekaterinin to four years in a general regime colony.
