Case summary
He lived in Moscow and worked as a courier. In July 2024, he was detained in Kaliningrad. He was accused of attempted participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation: according to the investigation team, he intended to illegally cross the border with Poland, and from there to get to Ukraine and join the Legion of Freedom of Russia. On July 2, 2025, Yeseniyazov was sentenced to seven years in a strict regime colony.
