A historian, history populariser, blogger, and former history teacher at a Moscow school. In September 2022, she was added to the register of "foreign agents". In June 2024, it became known that a criminal case had been opened against Eidelman under the article on the rehabilitation of Nazism. In May 2025, it was reported that a new case had been opened against her under the article on spreading "fakes" about the Russian army, based on a certain post on her Telegram channel.

On 31 October 2025, she was arrested in absentia: the entry on the court's website listed only the article on the rehabilitation of Nazism (the part concerning the dissemination of disrespectful information about the Days of Military Glory). At the same time, the Moscow Prosecutor's Office stated that she had also been arrested in connection with the case on spreading "fakes" about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Later, the case involving two episodes of rehabilitation of Nazism and one episode of spreading "fakes" about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was sent to court. On 22 January 2026, the court returned the case to the Prosecutor's Office.
